Officials in Marshall County have completed the vote canvass, a process that took more than 14 hours. 

When it was all said and done WTOV9.COM reports Bob Miller was declared the winner in the race for Marshall County Commissioner, beating out incumbent Jake Padlow by 70 votes.

Padlow wasn't there as the official results were released. On Tuesday he recused himself from the process before it began.

Padlow has until Friday to ask for a recount.

The commissioners are expected to certify the results Tuesday.
