Bellaire police are searching for a man who robbed a gas station at knifepoint on Wednesday.

There were no reported injuries.
Investigators tell News 9 the clerk reported that the robber came into the store, went behind the counter and demanded money from the cash register. The robber showed a folding-type knife with a blue handle.
The robber is younger and is believed to be a white man. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a brown Carhart-type coat with a hood, dark pants or jeans and wore sunglasses. He also wore a blue hooded sweatshirt under his coat, with a drawstring pulled tight to cover his face.
Police say the store had not determined the amount of cash that was stolen, but store workers believe it may be less than $200.
