In Harrison County, a collaboration to upgrade County Road 10 will result in improved infrastructure and job creation.

On Wednesday, local and state officials met with the Harrison County Engineer along with County Commissioners during their meeting to recognize the completion of the project and the success of the partnership. 

Officials say Upgrades made to the road has increased access for a local business and will create jobs. 

The Improvements to County Road 10 allows Rosebud Mining Company to transport coal from the new Vail Mine to the preparation plant on a safe transportation route. 

As a result of the project, the company will create 45 full-time positions.
