A Brooke County community will be without water for a time this weekend during a planned water outage. 

Officials in Wellsburg say the water will be turned off Friday night at 11:00 and be restored Saturday morning at around 7:00. 

The water outage is necessary so crews can fix a valve located at 12^th and Charles Streets.  Once service is restored a 48-hour boil order will go into effect.
