Officials say they believe a truck driving on Dallas Pike struck a gas line, causing an evacuation Thursday in part of
Our news partner, News 9 reports the incident happened near the Dallas Post Office. The area was evacuated and people were taken to a nearby church until the line could be capped by Mountaineer Gas Company.
The evacuation order as a result of the leak was lifted, but officials still had repair work left to do.
No one got hurt.
